The Vacancy
Based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, we are looking for a Foundry Moulder / Core Maker. This role will involve planning and producing cores and moulds safely, following standardised methods and process drawings.

The Role
- Produce cores up to 60 tonnes using staples / bars / rails / lifters.
- Produce moulds up to 650 tonnes in boxes / pits using SFEL best practices and paint ready to cast.
- Basic slinging duties.
- Be involved in the casting process.
- Always work to health & safety guidance and regulations.
- Housekeeping duties to maintain high standards in the work areas.
About You
The following relevant skills, knowledge and experience are required.
- Apprentice trained Moulder / Core Maker.
- Previous experience working as a Moulder / Core Maker.
- Ability to read and understand engineering method drawings.
- Previous experience working in a Foundry.
- Comfortable working at heights and in a hot environment.
- Ability to maintain a high level of health and safety.
Days/Hours of Work
37.5 hours per week, morning and afternoon shifts.
