Specialist Steel for Turbines, Generators and Power Plant Systems

We manufacture cast and forged components for power generation, including turbine components, shafts, valves and pump assemblies for demanding applications. Our integrated melt shop and foundry capabilities enable the production of complex, ultra-large components up to 350 tonnes finished weight, engineered for the thermal and mechanical stresses of power plant operation.
Our work includes the development of low alloy and specialist alloy steels such as 3.5% NiCr MoV and 10%Cr, specifically formulated for higher in-service temperatures required in super critical turbine and generator applications. This metallurgical expertise, combined with advanced machining and heat treatment, supports reliable performance across decades of power plant operation.

Our power generation capabilities combine ultra-clean steelmaking, large-scale casting and forging, and advanced machining to deliver components for turbines, generators, valves and pumps where material performance under extreme conditions is critical.

Specialist Alloy Steel Development

We develop and manufacture low alloy and specialist alloy steels including 3.5% NiCr MoV and 10%Cr grades, engineered for higher in-service temperatures in super critical turbine and generator applications.

Ultra-Large Component Manufacture
Our integrated melt shop and foundry produce complex, ultra-large components up to 350 tonnes finished weight, with 10,000-tonne forging capability supporting finish-machined components up to 200 tonnes.
Advanced Machining for Power Components
World-class 5-axis machining systems deliver the precision required for turbine components, shafts, valve bodies and pump assemblies, achieving tight tolerances across large and complex geometries.
Integrated Manufacturing Control
Ultra-clean steel production, advanced computer-aided design, simulation, modelling, metrology and analysis techniques support every stage from initial design through to final component delivery.
