Patrick Butcher – Cycling the length of Britain for Charity

Sheffield Forgemasters Non-Executive Director Patrick Butcher has started his huge charity challenge of cycling the length of Britain!

A lifelong ambition for Patrick, who set off yesterday (Monday 24 June), the Land’s End to John O’Groats route is over 1.500km long and is estimated to take Patrick and his friends 12 days to complete.

Patrick’s self-funded trip is in aid to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association and RSPB.

If you would like to donate, both JustGiving donation links can be found below:

Patrick has a combined £20,000 fundraising target for the two charities and has raised over £13,000 at the time of writing.

Good luck for the rest of your journey, Patrick – you’ve got this!
