Sheffield Forgemasters is delighted to announce that Stephen Hammell, Chief Financial Officer, has recently been awarded ‘Yorkshire Finance Leader in a Private or Family Owned Company’.
Stephen was presented with his trophy at the 2019 Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards at the Queens Hotel, Leeds, on the 19th September.
According to the event organisers the award category was intended to:
Recognise the achievements of a finance leader who has been able to maintain the fundamental ethos of the business whilst managing growth and articulating and communicating the future strategy.

Stephen joined Sheffield Forgemasters in July 2018, as part of the new Senior Executive Team and has been instrumental in helping to restructure the business for future success.
